Not simply looking
out. Living out.
Canopy House imagines a home organised around the edges where inside meets outside. A protected dining terrace becomes part of the daily plan. Glazing frames the canopy rather than competing with it. Materials move quietly across the threshold.
The ambition is a home that feels open without feeling exposed: generous shared spaces balanced by smaller places to retreat. Its architecture is a setting for life, not an interruption to it.
Select an image to look closer.
Licensed architectural reference photographs show different properties. They illustrate the design direction and are not documentation of a completed Canopy House.
Let the landscape lead.
Understand existing trees, sun paths and views before placing rooms. The garden is part of the brief, not a finishing layer.
Build a quieter palette.
Use fewer materials with more purpose. Timber brings warmth; charcoal frames the openings; stone provides a grounded counterpoint.
Make the edges useful.
Deep thresholds, sheltered terraces and places to pause allow a home to feel generous beyond its enclosed rooms.
